I’m Silvana, your food lifestyle alchemist and MSW candidate. My focus is on nourishing our bodies for mental health and well-being by integrating research-backed practices and tools into our daily lives. I am vitally committed to the health of all beings, which I believe to be a fundamental human right. I’ve been called the Swiss army knife of food and a creative cook by The New York Times, thanks to my son’s gluten-free, dairy-free diagnosis 19 years ago. Since then, my cookbooks have been a source of empowerment, motivating people to find joy and nourishment in cooking from a place of strength.

MY FOUNDATIONAL BELIEFS

There is no one-size-fits-all solution. I seek to close the health gap by determining and address underlying nutritional imbalances and deficiencies through active listening, personalized lifestyle protocols and accessible, sustainable solutions and identifying health inequities.

I am compassionately committed to protecting our quality of life. I hope to inspire a “well-feeling” generation that recognizes when we nourish ourselves, we evolve exponentially, creating shifts in our mental health, physical
well-being, and social connections and sleep cycle that result in positive, lasting change.

I look to meet people where they are, listen mindfully, and see each person holistically and through synergistic factors that determine our health, including upbringing, culture, trauma, environment, stress, lifestyle, sleep and community—critical sources of intentional well-being.

my focus

YOU—your life events, habits, emotions, behaviors, environment and daily choices that impact your health. Science matters, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. You do.

I take a HOLISTIC approach to balance OUR well-being.

We aren’t machines, we’re humans—and we’re uniquely perfectly imperfect. We live in a time of information overload, conflicting facts and hacks that put us on an exhausting, anxiety-fueled rollercoaster.

It’s time to transform our mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being to feel good in our bodies and restore our connection with our self-awareness—intuition.

My lived experiences taught me about the interdependent relationship between the health of our bodies and our brain, which affects our total body system, including our mental health, metabolism, immunity, skin, sleep, endocrine, and nervous systems.
